Internal door not closing properly

Anonymous user - 07/18/2026 - 12:18 PM

One of my internal doors has started catching at the bottom and won't close smoothly. Could this be due to humidity or does it need planing down?

Timber doors can swell slightly with humidity, but if it's consistently catching, a small amount of planing on the bottom edge usually fixes it. It's a quick job and won't affect the look of the door.
